The hotel created a friendly environment. The rooms are big and the breakfast is generous. Enjoyed the nice restaurant.

A great experience and friendly staff. The hotel was ideally situated. Pleasant to relax on the rooftop terrace: D

A comfortable stay. Free breakfast, good location for exploring New York City. Plus, free Wi Fi was available. Tea and coffee provided in the morning.
The street was noisy and you'll have to deal with it. Checked the aircon and it was a bit noisy.

This hotel was in a great location and area of Chelsea-boasting many bars, resturants and shops..with everything you needed Only a 15 mintue walk into Times Square and the metro line was just around the corner. The staff were all very helpful with any questions to be answered and someone was there on hand 24 hours a day. My room was clean and so too were the communial bathrooms, with fresh linen and towels on a daily basis. The breakfast provided was just what you needed to kick start your day with arrange of juices, tea, coffee and bagels, cereal, eggs etc. If your looking for some where to stay on a peaceful road and looking to relax or venture out into NYC this is a great place to stay.

The Inn represented excellent value for the money. The staff was genuinely friendly, my room was comfortable, and the location was both charming and convenient. My room overlooked tree-lined West 22nd Street. It was compact, but then most NYC hotel rooms are compact and cost four times as much. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was immaculate as well, and because there are only a few guests per floor, there was never a backup waiting to use the facilties. The Inn is steps away from good restaurants on both Eighth and Ninth Avenues. There are subway stations on 23rd Street, a block north, and it is an easy walk to The Highline's 23rd Street entrance. If you enjoy walking, the hotel is equal distance from Times Square and the Meatpacking District and it is a safe and pleasant walk to either. You can pay 5 times as much elsewhere and not have as pleasant a stay! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The location was great. Near the subway station & within walking distance of Greenwich / West Village. The street itself is pretty quiet so if you need a good nights sleep - it's no problem. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. Breakfasts were good. Rooms are small but well equipped & very clean. WiFi access is a bit of a pain at $3 a day. And next time, I'll go for a room with ensuite as the shared bathrooms were occupied a lot in the mornings. Not great if you're in a rush to get out! All in all though, I'd stay here again if around Chelsea.

Very friendly welcoming and helpful Edwin was particularly helpful to me. Nice buffet breakfast and hot drinks most of the day if wanted.

missing an elevator for higher flours, but this is a smaller inconvenience

All of the good reviews about this hotel at Booked.net sort of create high expectation but the reality not to say disappoints but is just pretty down to earth. It is a nice hotel but don't expect anything explicitly over-lovely. The rooms were cleaned every day, shared bathrooms were very good, the breakfast quite nice and was always there and refilled when needed (fruits, cereal, boiled eggs, pastries, jams, coffee). A very nice 'common area' - room on the first floor with round-the- clock tea and coffee. Friendly staff, nice location, cozy atmosphere.
2 things really sort of shaken up the overall positive impression - first, rooms are really very small, with hardly enough space for 2 people with 2 bags to be standing up simultaneously. Rooms are also very plain, no decorations or colors whatsoever, literally a bed, a closet and a sink and a one square meter of space in between. Second problem is no central ac which means a very loud and old air conditioner blowing right into your ear at night or suffocating in the ny summer heat. Wish this was corrected and rooms could really use a touch of an effort to make them warmer and cozier.

Very clean, great location, loved the rooftop deck for evening visits with my daughter and for morning yoga
Air conditioner was weak but be were there during some extreme heat and out room was on the top floor.

Beautiful little hotel with a lot of character. We loved it! Full recommendation for those that are not searching for every single flaw in hotel rooms. :)
-
May be the location and the breakfast included. The room was ok and the shared restrooms were very clean.
It is expensive for what it offers. However this is a problem of nyc.

Very clean, very friendly place in a perfect location. Beautiful building, great continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
Bed sheets slightly stained, clean, but stained.
